After a year hiatus, Donna created the fourth Saturday Night Out, a venue around a Halloween theme called Scary Saturday Night Out. In the wake of 9/11, many other fundraisers were canceled, but this show went on and was very well received. Bill Galvano again served as Master of Ceremonies for the show held at the Bradenton Municipal Auditorium in Bradenton, Florida.
New concepts, costumes, props, along with musical talent and Allison Norton’s choreography, all came together for a very fun and Popular singing artist Billy Rice teamed with volunteers and entertained a dinner crowd of 525 and 200 balcony guests. The Macabre Soiree featured eerie, but elegantly costumed couples and black cats crawled out of the mouth of a giant, lighted, jack-o-lantern and danced with feline agility. Skeletons and ghosts became authentic in black-lighted dance performances, and a finale splashed the stage with Halloween color.
