The second SNO, held at the Bradenton Municipal Auditorium in Bradenton, Florida, was a blend of Donna’s costumes and custom-made clothing designs, modeled by their owners to more than 500 guests. A horse danced the Texas two-step with girls in fancy denim apparel, a giant pair of hands clapped to Macarena dancers, and ladies in leopard were captured in a butterfly net. Proceeds went to AIDS Manasota, Inc. in honor of Donna’s best friend that died from the disease. Allison Norton’s Bradenton Ballet Repertory contributed ballet performances, and costumed singers Donna Freeman and Catherine Randazzo sang with beautifully dressed volunteers.
