SNO News from Donna Riggs

A Saturday Night Out venue requires a huge financial commitment.  In this weak economy, it is hard to seek financial support when inflation, unemployment and uncertainty looms around us.

However, I am still working on SNO, Inc. during this hiatus. My time and resources have been devoted to this new website and preparing a new show. Identifying and editing hundreds of hours of film footage, scanning photos, and organizing information has been a very rewarding walk down memory lane, but also very expensive and very time-consuming.

Ken Clark (www.pacificairforce.com), is an website builder here in Bradenton, and has taken on the massive job of putting this site together.

Will Kidd, a video DJ and film editor, has spent months preparing film for this site. You may have seen Will around some of the clubs in this area. He has made the most out of the film that I have. At first we tried to run the viewing through YouTube, a super way to do it.  However, to get the best quality resolution, it is best to the films load into your own private PC software. AND there is a LOT of film on this site, so be patient if you choose to view it.

I've drawn new costume designs to support a new Halloween venue, in hopes that when a green light flashes in my head, I will be ready to move forward on a show, maybe 2012.

I am grateful to have met Dawna Oak, Costume Director (and designer) for Feld Entertainment. Through Dawna, I've become a vendor for Feld, making patterns and costumes for The Ringling Circus, Disney on Ice, and Disney Live, continuing to do the work that I enjoy.  I've even had an opportunity to do some computer illustrations of Dawna's designs for an awesome motorcycle show called, Nuclear Cowboyz.

If anyone has any film or photos concerning any facet of SNO,Inc., PLEASE let me know. I would like to get them onto this site.  Just email me at dkriggs@tampabay.rr.com.  If you have photos of yourself in any of the costumes or designs that were in the show, I would be truly grateful for their use.

Thanks so much.
